Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to Hintly and the website at hintly.co.
Hintly is built for a private space between you and the partner you intentionally connect with. When you create an account, connect with a partner, and save things like wishes, hints, memories, reminders, and relationship preferences, that information is used to run the product and support the shared space you choose to create.
We also use the account and service information needed to sign you in, keep your session working, maintain your couple connection, and store settings such as notification preferences and push subscription records if you choose to enable notifications.
Content you create inside your couple space is meant for that shared space. It is not public by default, but it can be visible to the partner connected to that space because that is part of how Hintly works. That can include shared content, reminder-related activity, and partner-facing notifications tied to your shared space.
If you enable notifications, we may send device notifications to help you keep up with activity in Hintly. How private those previews are on a lock screen or shared device depends in part on your device settings, notification preview settings, and shared-device habits, so you should use the notification settings that feel right for your situation.
We try to keep the information we use proportionate to what the product needs. Hintly is not built to sell your personal information for advertising, and it is not meant to expose your relationship activity outside the private space you intentionally set up.
Google Sign-In Data
Data accessed: If you choose to sign in with Google, Hintly uses Google Sign-In through Supabase Auth. Hintly requests only the basic Google account information needed for sign-in: your Google account email address, Google account name, Google profile image if available, and Google account ID or authentication identifier.
Data usage: Hintly uses this Google Sign-In data to create and identify your Hintly account, let you sign in securely with Google, display basic account information inside your account where needed, help protect your account from unauthorized access, and communicate with you about your Hintly account if needed.
Hintly does not use Google Sign-In to access Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Google Photos, Google Contacts, files, or messages.
Hintly does not sell Google user data. Hintly does not use Google user data for advertising, retargeting, credit decisions, or unrelated profiling.
Hintly does not share Google user data except where necessary to provide and secure Hintly, comply with law, or protect users from abuse.
Hintly's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
